These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of oiko.co.uk (the “Site”), operated by BuiltByGo LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. By using this Site, you agree to these Terms.
1. What this Site is
This Site is a marketing and information site for the Oiko line of free WordPress plugins — currently Oiko Guard, Oiko Sessions, Oiko Boost, Oiko Fields, and Oiko Forms. It doesn't require an account, doesn't process payments, and doesn't host a paid service of any kind — every feature of every Oiko plugin is free.
2. The plugins are licensed separately
The plugins themselves are free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPLv2+), and distributed via WordPress.org and GitHub. Your use of any Oiko plugin's actual code is governed by that license, not by these Terms — these Terms cover only your use of this website. See each plugin's own repository, linked from its page on this Site, for the exact license text.
3. No warranty
This Site, and the information on it, is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. The Oiko plugins are provided under the GPL, which itself disclaims warranty in the terms every GPL license already states — nothing on this Site changes or adds to that.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuiltByGo LTD won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or any Oiko plugin, including damage to your WordPress site or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't lawfully be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
If you're a consumer resident in the UK or EU, nothing in these Terms restricts any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use this Site to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or any connected system,
- scrape or reproduce its content at scale without permission, or
- use it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual property
The Oiko name, logo, and the content of this Site — excluding the plugins' own GPL-licensed source code — belong to BuiltByGo LTD. The plugins' source code is licensed under the GPL as described in section 2, and you're free to use, modify, and redistribute it under those terms.
7. Third-party links
This Site links to third-party sites we don't control, including WordPress.org, GitHub, and wphealthkit.com. We're not responsible for their content or their own privacy and data practices.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that may apply, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
9. Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms, we'll update this page and change the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
